One of the saddest times that comes with being a pet owner is the realization that they won't be around forever. You start to notice that your dog is slowing down a little, or is sleeping a little deeper than they used to do. They are more content with lying next to you on the sofa than offering up their favourite toy for you to play with them.
Eventually your dog will make that journey that we all dread, crossing the rainbow bridge and leaving that tunnel sized hole in your heart. No matter how many dogs we may have had in our lifetime, this part never gets any easier.
Memories are such an important thing to have at this time, and photos of your beloved furry friend can bring a smile back to your face and make your heart swell with love for the loyal friend you had for all those years. If your pet is entering his senior years, why not get a photo session of him to create some stunning, lasting memories that you can look at whenever you wish.
I designed my 'Twilight Years Pet Photography Session' with these older dogs in mind. Allocating a larger timeframe, to give your dog time to rest. If you wish, I can come along to your house, and we can do the session in your garden, so that your best friend is in a familiar environment, helping him to feel comfortable with the shoot. I will work at his pace, and if he's not happy with something, then we don't do it. The Twilight session will be completely designed around your older dog, tell me what kind of photo's you would like from the shoot, and I will capture some beautiful memories for you.
If your dog is ill and his years have been cut shorter than you had hoped for, contact me, and I will book a session for you as soon as possible.
After the session, I will upload 10 - 15 beautifully edited high resolution photos to a password-protected gallery for you. You will be able to download all the photo's to your PC or phone (or both) from the gallery. After you have viewed the photo's, let me know which 3 are your favourites and I will get them printed out for you, so you have a memory that you can hold in your hands, or frame and put on your bedside table (or wherever you wish)
Not sure that the Twilight Pet Photography session is for you? Then contact me and we can have a chat.

I lost my old boy, 'Bear' (you can see him in this blog) back in July 2020, and I treasure every photo that I have of him. I have 3 of my favourites next to my bed, so his face is the first thing I see when I get up every morning!
Quote of the day
“Dogs come into our lives to teach us about love, they depart to teach us about loss. A new dog never replaces an old dog. It merely expands the heart.”―Author Unknown
