Hey Pet Pawrents! How's everyone doing? I just wanted to take a little time to wish everyone who reads my posts, follows my social media's and generally takes an interest in what I do, a very Merry Christmas!
This year has been amazing for me as a photographer, I have met so many wonderful people and their dogs, cats and horses. It makes me feel truly honoured that you folks have allowed me to capture some fantastic memories of your treasured pets for you.
I have had an absolute blast, and loved every single moment.
I am going to be taking a little break over Christmas, from Dec 21st to approx 16th Jan 2023, not only to relax and recharge my batteries, but also because Lauren and I are going to become the proud owners of a gorgeous little German Shepherd puppy on Dec 22nd! We're so excited and honestly can't wait for the day we can bring him home to share our lives. I thought it only right that we had a couple of weeks off doing photoshoots (I will still be answering emails and messages, and taking bookings for the new year) so we can get to know more about this beautiful young fella, and get a head start with his training!
I also wanted to give a heads-up that at some stage in the new year, I am going to have to increase package prices, I'll try to keep them as low as I possibly can, but with fuel prices going up, along with utility bills, the outlay for packages is now costing more, and I often find myself doing a shoot and editing the photos for lower than the national living wage. As much as I love dog photography, I also need to pay the bills.
However, on a brighter note, I do intend to start running some flash sales. These super quick sales will be announced on Facebook groups and community pages, and also on my Facebook and Instagram pages, but you will need to be quick. They will be limited to possibly one or two shoots, and will be on a first come, first served basis. You will need to take the photoshoot in a specified timeframe, that may be the same week, or on a particular day. What made me decide to do this? Well last week I had a cancellation, I advertised that package at a discounted price on social media, and had an absolute frenzy of people messaging me, so I thought it would be a good way to create interest in what I do, get my brand out there, and help you folks out by giving you a bit of a bargain.
In return, I just hope that you'll spread the word about me and what I do :)
